New Hampshire
The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES) is the main environmental enforcement agency in the state. New Hampshire is stricter than federal regulations when classifying hazardous waste generators and labeling of hazardous waste. Any business that produces hazardous waste is regulated by the state and must notify DES.
