Alaska
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is the main environmental enforcement agency in the district. Alaska closely follows federal environmental regulations. The DEC does not have responsibility for hazardous waste regulations. EPA, Region 10 is responsible for inspections and enforcement actions as well as other activities under RCRA for Alaska.
